Youth homelessness is a real and pressing problem, impacting our community, bringing with it great financial and even greater human cost.

Homelessness does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or family background. But everyone who experiences homelessness has a story. We want to give voice to those stories and help youth become their best selves. We know that it starts with meeting their basic needs – shelter, food, safety, love.

Homeward Trust is excited to bring you the 5th annual Homeward Walk | Run. This year’s event features a brand 5k and 10k courses starting at Whitemud Park picnic site #1 (12505 Keillor Rd NW), complete with MORE signage and onsite contests! Get ready to party with DJ Sambou, a post event BBQ and fun for the whole family. You’ll walk or run in this time event with 300 enthusiastic participants all running toward the same goal – ending youth homelessness in our community! Proceeds will support YESS, E4C, iHuman, the Edmonton John Howard Society, and Homeward Trust.
