Nexus Shelter

Nexus provides short-term shelter and security. Here, Youth Workers will help you find stable and secure housing as quickly as possible. The shelter opens at 9PM and has access to food, dorms, showers, and personal items (jackets, backpacks, toothbrushes, shoes) from the donation room.

While at Nexus, you will work with a Youth Worker to list your goals and needs so you can find appropriate long-term housing.

Armoury Resource Centre

The Armoury Resource Centre (ARC) is home to a variety of daytime programs, including medical care, addictions and mental health counselling, help with continuing education, and help with housing resources.

ARC is also where you’ll find our Compass and Mosaic resource workers and the Integrated Youth Hub.

Long-Term Residence

For youth who need the stability and support of a long-term home, we have two residences: Graham’s Place and Shanoa’s Place. If you have goals such as finishing school, overcoming addiction, or focusing on your mental health, then residence might be a good fit for you. Talk to Youth Workers at Nexus or ARC about your housing options.
